Calendar filter for widget
I started using the home screen widget in iOS, called Next Up. But there is no filtering option for the widget, like you provide for the notification widget Informant Today. So it displays events from all the calendars I have access to. There should be a possibility to apply a filter to the home screen widget, or at least it should follow the filtering set for the current view in Informant.

Task sorted within groups/projects
I set all tasks with a priority when I set them up. So in my focus view tasks are sorted by those priorities. But within a priority, tasks appear simply alphabetical; what I want is those tasks within a priority to be then grouped by project type (alphabetically or even more ideally by a project title ranking of my custom choice), and within that sort, each project task would then be sorted alphabetically.
At the moment I see the only way to accomplish this is to for example label all tasks in the ‘chess’ project with the word chess at…4 votes -
Travel Assist
Travel Assist stinks. If I fly from Cincinnati to Phoenix why would I ever want to know what time it is in Cincinnatti when I arrive in Phoenix? If my return flight from is at 3:15pm Arizona time why would Informant tell me my departure in 6:15 EST?

Order events chronologically
I would like the events of a day in the month view to be listed chronologically. An afternoon event shouldn’t precede a morning one. Thank you.

User-defined filters in Informant for MacOS
A game changer feature of Informant for iOS is the possibility to create and apply user-defined filters instead of checking/unchecking each calendar to display.
Why ?
Because when you have your whole life in Informant, you have necessarily various calendars : personal life, couple life, children, specific activities, professional activities, and calendars shared with other people.
And it is really more productive to be able to display with one touch only the children calendars or the professional ones at demand.My main issue with Informant for MacOS is that this feature doesn’t exist.

Modify event search function to use currently selected calendar filter
Currently if I search my calendar for an event with a name that is included in one of my contacts, the search function takes a long, and will first present a long list of birthday events for this contact before presenting any other information.
For example, if I want to search for my last meeting with “Fred”, before Informant shows any events with Fred, it will first present a list of birthdays for Fred which it calculates from Fred’s birthday in my contact database.
So I will get a long list like the following:Fred’s 1st Birthday

Synchronize Informant templates and settings between iPhone and iPad apps
I would like configuration changes made on one device to be reflected my other device through my iCloud account. I don’t want to have t configure things twice. The settings most important to me to be synchronized include:
- templates for new events
- calendar colours and icons- calendar filters

When printing tasks, it would make sense to automatically print by Priority (A, B C, etc.) and then by numerical order.

Having the option to assign priority letters and numbers is a good feature, but seems odd that is it not carried over to the printing function. Thanks.

Fix the following issues in Android:
1) A more clear line between all day events 2) stop colors from reverting back to original colors. 3) when you hold down an event, and select "move" in the context menu, and change the date to another date, the event stays in the original date until you close the list of events on the bottom. Otherwise, it takes quite a while to refresh.

Use Waze for directions. It lets you know when you need to leave based on traffic.
Allow users to be able to use whichever map app they want for directions… I prefer Waze.

Provide some semblance of support
Twice I have raised an issue with support.
Each time I am promised a timely response to my issue.
Each time, after receiving no feedback for 2 weeks, I request an update.
Each time I am advised the support ticket has been closed.
Each time I have received no resolution or even an advice that me support ticket is closedI suggest you treat your customers with some sort of respect & provide support

check box and auto roll over
Add a check box like a to-do list to each event/reminder So can be ticked once completed. Also a auto rollover of event to next day incase not completed.

Backup to Dropbox
There is an option in the menu to Auto backup to local or Dropbox. I prefer Dropbox, but that option has not worked for me for a long time. It always saves it locally, regardless of where I choose to save it. This should be fixed.

Android. Event templates in the add button
Ability to select templates directly from a template list when creating a new event using the add button. Currently, only new events, tasks, and notes are available. This would make templates more quick and valuable to use.

Change time zone indication in Column Week view
In Column Week view the time zone takes up so much space that the event title is unreadable when it is only one hour. Either make the time zone smaller or allow the user to set how many hours are displayed so that there is more room for the event title.

Create an event with associated tasks in one template
I've always wanted templates to make a new event along with an associated task or multiple tasks. This is useful when creating a new event such as a meeting that also has a task that needs to be completed such as emailing a contact the same day or making an invoice on the same day or possibly a few days or a week ahead of time. This would be a real time saver.

Incorporating such features would significantly elevate the utility of the app.
