Travel Assist
Travel Assist stinks. If I fly from Cincinnati to Phoenix why would I ever want to know what time it is in Cincinnatti when I arrive in Phoenix? If my return flight from is at 3:15pm Arizona time why would Informant tell me my departure in 6:15 EST?
Confusing and worthless. It made me miss my flight!

People have been asking you to turn it off since 2024. Add an “OFF” button for god sakes.

I 100% agree! Every time I travel to another time zone I need to do math to figure out what time my appointment is. WHY IS THERE NO WAY TO TURN THIS OFF?

Hi there,
I'm so sorry to hear this—and I completely understand your frustration. Travel Assist is meant to help, not confuse, and if it contributed to you missing a flight, that’s absolutely not okay.
You're right: when you're in Phoenix, your event should reflect local time, not the time back in Cincinnati. We’ve heard this feedback before and are actively rethinking how Travel Assist handles time zones to make it more intuitive and accurate—especially for travelers who rely on it for flight details.
Your experience matters, and we’re truly sorry it let you down. If you're open to it, we’d love to follow up and learn more so we can make this feature better.

Please turn off this "feature." Today I have returned to the US following 18-days in Micronesia. My calendar is screwed up in a dozen differnet ways. Please stop forcing this horrible feature on users. I used a Palm Pilot for more than 20 years and it NEVER had this type of feature and it worked just great. I traveled more than 1M miles to four continents over 20 years and never, ever would have used "travel assist" if it had been a feature in PalmOS. Please make it a priority to shut off this horrible feature.
