    Hi there,

Great suggestion—and thank you for bringing it up!

We know how important it is to make the most of your Apple Watch Ultra, especially with custom complications like the “sub dial top” on the Infograph face. Currently, Apple has limitations on which third-party apps can appear in certain complication slots, but we’re actively exploring how to expand our Watch integration and improve flexibility in how Informant shows up on your watch face.

We’ll definitely take this into account as we plan future updates for watchOS compatibility. Really appreciate you reaching out with this!

    Hi there,

Thank you for the clear and detailed feedback—this is such a valuable insight.

You’re absolutely right: when you're searching for something specific like your last meeting with “Fred,” having to scroll past decades of birthday events pulled from contact data is not only unhelpful—it makes the search function feel broken.

We completely agree that using your current calendar filter to limit search results would be a huge improvement. It would keep things relevant, reduce clutter, and get you to the information you actually need much faster.

We’re reviewing how we can better prioritize and filter search results, and this specific example is incredibly helpful in shaping that effort. Really appreciate you taking the time to share it.

    Hi there,

Thanks so much for pointing this out!

You're absolutely right—events in the month view should be listed in chronological order. It can definitely be confusing when an afternoon event appears before a morning one, and we agree that’s something that needs to be addressed for a clearer, more intuitive view.

We’re adding this to our list of layout refinements and really appreciate you taking the time to bring it to our attention.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the suggestion!

We completely understand the value of supporting CalDAV calendars—it’s a widely used standard and would give users more flexibility in how they manage their calendars. This is something we’ve had on our radar, and your request helps reinforce how important it is.

We’ll continue to evaluate how best to support this in future updates. Really appreciate you reaching out and letting us know what matters to you!

    Hi there,

Thank you for your clear and thoughtful request!

You’re absolutely right—having consistent icon sets between Informant on macOS and iOS would go a long way toward creating a more unified experience. We agree that visual consistency is important, especially when switching between devices as part of your workflow.

This kind of refinement is something we’ve been aiming for, and your feedback helps us prioritize it. We’ll definitely look into aligning the icon libraries across platforms so you always have access to the full set, no matter where you’re working.

Really appreciate you taking the time to share this!

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out—and I completely understand how frustrating duplicate entries can be, especially when they’re caused by sync issues.

We know how important it is to keep your calendar and task lists clean and reliable. A tool to find and remove duplicate entries is something we’ve been discussing internally, and your request reinforces just how helpful that would be—particularly for long-time Informant Sync users.

We’re adding this to our list of feature considerations, and we’ll be sure to explore options for safely identifying and cleaning up duplicates without risking data loss.

Really appreciate you bringing this up! Here's something you can try:

An issue with duplicate events is most typically due to a circle sync - meaning you have the same data synced to informant from two different sources.

Edit both instances of a duplicate event in informant and go to the 'calendar' option. You'll see the name of the calendar it's assigned to here. Now tap that calendar name and you'll get a list of all calendars under the header of their sync service.

If you see that one events calendar is under the google header and the other events calendar is under the apple header then you have a circle sync to informant from Apple and Google.

To fix this go to your device settings (not informant) and at accounts>gmail>turn off calendar.

    Hi there,

Thanks so much for pointing this out!

You're absolutely right—templates should offer the same icon selection as when you're creating a regular appointment. That consistency not only makes things easier, but it also helps keep your calendar looking the way you want across all events.

We’ll definitely look into updating this so templates have access to the full icon palette. Great catch, and we appreciate you taking the time to share it!

    Hi there,

Great point—and totally agree. When you’ve taken the time to organize your project list just the way you like it on one device, it should carry over everywhere else. Having to re-sort manually across each device is a hassle, and we hear you.

Syncing custom project list order across all platforms is something we’re actively looking into, and your feedback helps us prioritize it.

Thanks for sharing this—consistency really does make all the difference!

    Hi there,

Thank you for highlighting this—especially with such a clear explanation. You’re absolutely right: when entering a location in Pocket Informant, only the address (not the location name) syncs over to Google Calendar, while the reverse works just fine.

We understand how frustrating that inconsistency can be—especially when you're trying to keep your calendars tidy and readable. This issue has been around longer than it should, and I want you to know we’re taking a fresh look at it. Sync should be seamless in both directions.

Really appreciate your patience and persistence in bringing this to our attention.

    Hi there,

Great observation—and you’re right. Manual task sorting is available on Android, but unfortunately not yet on iOS. We definitely understand how useful it is to drag and arrange tasks in the exact order you want, especially within a project.

Bringing this feature to iOS is something we’re actively considering, and your feedback helps reinforce its importance. Thanks so much for pointing it out!

    Hi there,

I hear you—and that is frustrating. Losing work just because of an accidental tap near “Cancel” or outside the Notes field is a terrible feeling, especially when you're deep in thought or typing on a larger screen like the iPad.

We totally agree that either a Cancel confirmation or autosave behavior (like Apple Notes) would make for a much better and safer experience. This is exactly the kind of thoughtful UX feedback that helps us make Informant more intuitive—and we’re adding this to our list for improvement.

Thank you so much for calling it out!

    Hi there,

First, I want to sincerely apologize for your experience—it’s absolutely not the level of support we want to provide. You’re right to expect timely updates, clear communication, and follow-through on support tickets. Being left without resolution or even a proper closure notice is frustrating and unacceptable.

I also want to thank you for sticking with us despite that. We recently made some important changes to our support team, and you should notice a real improvement moving forward. Tickets will be tracked more carefully, and you’ll get proper responses and follow-ups.

We truly appreciate you taking the time to speak up, and we’re committed to earning back your trust.

Thanks so much for reporting these Android issues—we really appreciate the detail you’ve provided.

We agree that there should be a clearer visual line between all-day events and timed ones, and we’re looking into ways to improve that layout.

The color reversion bug is frustrating, and you're not the only one who's noticed it—we’re actively working to fix it so your customized colors stay put.

And yes, that delay when moving an event is something we're aware of. It definitely shouldn’t require closing the event list for the change to show. We're working on making that refresh smoother and more immediate.

Your feedback helps us make Informant better across platforms, and we’re grateful you took the time to share it.

    Hi there,

Thank you so much for this incredibly thoughtful feedback—and for using Informant so deeply in both your personal and professional life.

You’re absolutely right: user-defined calendar filters are a game-changing feature on iOS, and we completely understand why not having that same flexibility on macOS can be frustrating—especially when you’re juggling multiple areas of life and collaboration.

We agree this functionality is essential for a consistent and productive experience across all devices. Syncing custom filters between iOS and macOS via Informant Sync is a fantastic idea, and it’s something we’ve started looking into more closely thanks to feedback just like yours.

We truly appreciate your passion and insight—it helps guide our priorities, and this request is now firmly on our radar for future Mac development.

Thanks again for taking the time to share this so clearly and kindly.

    Hi there,

I'm so sorry to hear this—and I completely understand your frustration. Travel Assist is meant to help, not confuse, and if it contributed to you missing a flight, that’s absolutely not okay.

You're right: when you're in Phoenix, your event should reflect local time, not the time back in Cincinnati. We’ve heard this feedback before and are actively rethinking how Travel Assist handles time zones to make it more intuitive and accurate—especially for travelers who rely on it for flight details.

Your experience matters, and we’re truly sorry it let you down. If you're open to it, we’d love to follow up and learn more so we can make this feature better.

    Hi there,

Totally agree—having alarms saved within your templates would be a big time-saver. We’ve heard from other users who would love this too, and your point about it being easier to delete than re-create is spot on.

We’re adding this to our list of improvements for templates—it’s a small change that could make a big difference in everyday use.

Thanks so much for taking the time to share it!

    Hi there,

    That’s a great idea—thank you!

A little bell icon to indicate when an alarm is set would be a super helpful visual cue, especially when quickly scanning through your schedule. It’s a small detail, but one that could make a big difference in clarity.

We’ll definitely consider this for a future update. Really appreciate you taking the time to suggest it!

    Hi there,

Totally agree—being able to view tasks and notes together under a single project would make managing everything in one place so much smoother.

This is something we’ve been thinking about too, and your feedback reinforces how valuable that kind of unified project view would be. It’s definitely on our radar for future improvements.

Thanks for sharing how you’d like to see Informant evolve—it really helps us prioritize what matters most!

    Hi there,

This is a fantastic suggestion—thank you!

We agree that being able to print directly from the Notes view would be incredibly useful, especially for organizing or sharing your thoughts outside the app. Even better, selecting multiple notes by date range, project, or tag to print or export in bulk? That’s exactly the kind of power-user functionality we want to support.

We’re adding this to our list for future enhancements, and your clear explanation helps us understand how important it is.

    Really appreciate you sharing this!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the great suggestion!

Highlighting the current day with a larger weekday name is a simple but effective visual cue—we love the idea. It would help make “today” stand out at a glance, and we’ll definitely consider it as we continue refining the interface.

Really appreciate you taking the time to share!
