An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for the great suggestion! I totally see what you mean—when you are focused and just trying to make quick edits, skipping that preview step would definitely make things faster. A setting to go straight into edit mode sounds like a really smart option.
I will share this with the team. It is the kind of small change that can make a big difference in day to day use.
Really appreciate you taking the time to send this in. Keep the ideas coming—we always love hearing how people are using Pocket Informant.

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks so much for your feedback—it’s always great to hear from users who are thinking not just about functionality, but also how the app feels to use.
We’ve heard similar thoughts from others who are looking for a more modern, matte aesthetic with neutral tones, and I completely understand where you’re coming from. Apps like Todoist do a great job of creating a calm, focused visual environment, and it’s something we’re definitely keeping in mind as we plan future design updates.
We’re exploring some visual refinements that bring more polish and flexibility to the overall look and feel of Pocket Informant, and your input helps us shape that direction.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts—and for being part of the Pocket Informant community. We truly appreciate your support.
We hear you—widget readability is a top priority for upcoming updates. We’re exploring ways to improve layout, font size, and customization so they’re actually useful at a glance.
Appreciate you sticking with us as we make improvements.
