1) Add search in main page on iOS (top right corner) like in v4

a) make it fast (so I can find events)
b) use case: i want to find something on my calendar

2) sell v4 as is. I do not like v5. It is trash.

Here is a simple example to illustrate the point of why search is important for a calendar app, and it is beyond all rational thought why I even have to explain it:

v5 is missing SEARCH on iOS. Not only is it missing, but it is missing from the main screen.

How is a calendar app usable without search?

Are you saying nobody has this use case:

me: when did I schedule a meeting with my doctor?
pocket informant v5:

me: I guess I'll never know when my doctor appointment is
me: dies

this is what happened in v4:
me: when did I schedule a meeting with my doctor?
pocket informant v4: june 3rd 10am with Dr.HeartHappy
me: yay!
me: FYI: I didnt die, too bad for v5 users!!

I dont want to be insulting to the suggestions, but they are embarrassingly terrible.

2) I get that you wanted to do a web platform, etc etc. and expand your base.
Well why would I buy a web version if I dont even use the version on my phone?

Maybe I am the one who is delusional, and you have made big bucks from the change.

speaking from just this one user:
I am more motivated than ever to find another solution. It makes me sad because you didn't leave the old product alone & just keep it current or change to a different pricing model that met your goals. Instead you destroyed something that I used every day.

Only recently v4 died and I cant get it back. So I am limping along in the **** v5 app you have. Where notes disappear constantly, no search, it is slow & buggy.

It feels like you lost your way.

I hope you listen to users again, but I am doubtful. I am clearly NOT the first person to say what I said.
