While I like the fact that overdue tasks are easily identifiable, I don’t particularly enjoy they they are marked as overdue the minute they are due. I’m specifically not fond of the red dot in the center of the “checkbox.” The checkbox being visually “filled” signals completion to me, which I do not personally find intuitive when a task is not complete.

This would be tolerable if I could toggle the overdue status to activate the day following the due date instead of immediately, but the option to remove the “overdue dot” (and perhaps additionally have an option for the due date text be red/a custom color as an alternative visual indicator for overdue status) would be an improvement, in my opinion.
